Born and raised in Washington D.C., I joined the military at a young age and am currently retired from the United States Army and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). My entire career has been based on the help, aid and assistance to others in need. I am a former Suicide Prevention Program Manager, Prevention Coordinator, Risk Reduction Program Manager, Drug Testing Coordinator and Acting Alcohol and Drug Control Officer (ADCO), which I served proudly for the Department of Defense (DoD).
“Lollipop Trailblazers” is a wonderful children’s book that teaches young readers the values of diversity, acceptance, and equality. In today’s world, where discussions of race and discrimination are becoming increasingly important, the book is a timely and relevant addition to any child’s bookshelf.
